As the body was designed to tend toward repairing itself, so the soul (mind, will and emotions) likewise tends towards self repair if optimum conditions are provided. (proper nutrition, rest, exercise, recreation, focus etc) We must do our part which so often requires of us self- discipline. It doesn't mean doctors or counselors or other trained professionals and individuals are not, or cannot and should not be, involved in and part of guiding the healing process in which we must cooperate. But, can you believe it, their involvement may not even be the main element or primary instrument of healing and recovery!
