Oh God, how great thou art
Clothed in majesty and light
By YOUR HANDS the heavens were formed
All creation testifies!

By YOUR VOICE you laid earth’s foundation
And set boundaries for the deep
Fresh water to drink every beast of the field
The fruit of YOUR WORKS, clear to see!

YOU CAUSE grass to grow for the cattle
And vegetation for the service of man
That he may bring forth food from the earth
I honor you with all that I am!

YOU APPOINTED the moon for all seasons
Even the Sun knows it’s going down
The earth is full of YOUR POSSESSIONS
In YOUR WISDOM you've made them abound!

The seas and oceans are teeming
With living creatures both great and small
There on YOUR WATERS the ships sail about
To the glory of you Lord!

YOU OPEN your hand and it is filled with good
When YOU HIDE your face, earth trembles
By YOUR SPIRIT YOU GRANT the breath of life
And to dust to return when life is ended!

One day sinners will perish
And the wicked will be no more
May YOUR GLORY endure forever!
Praise the Lord! Oh, my soul, praise the Lord!
