What's Your Life Like?

How are you feeling at this moment? Lost, confused, hopeless and full of

despair? You may be thinking your life is a mess with nothing to look forward

to and no one who can help you. 

Here is good news. There IS someone who can help you. His name is Jesus He

is the Son of God. He understands everything you are going through and

He loves you. He wants what is best for you.

How can that be?

Because it is recorded in the Bible, God's Word.

The Bible tells us God is love. He loves us all so much He sent Jesus to earth

in the form of a man to take away all our sin. Jesus died a horrible death, even

though He had done nothing wrong. He was nailed to a cross paying the price

for the sin of the whole world. His Father, God, even abandoned Him for a

time. He was bereft.

By the mighty power of God, Jesus rose to live again, enabling us to be

forgiven and experience everlasting life. Although it may be difficult to

understand, when you believe Jesus is the son of God and ask forgiveness for

all you have done wrong, immediately your sins are wiped away. You start a

new life. When you die you will spend eternity in heaven with God and Jesus

who is now sitting at God's right hand. There will be no sorrow or pain only

peace and joy forevermore.

No matter what you have done or how useless you feel He has a plan for your

life.He knows all about you because He formed you in your mother's womb.

He knows your thoughts, understands you and will always love you. He

promises in Hebrews 13:5 'He will never leave you or turn His back on you.'

Hebrews 4:15-16 states 'For we do not have a high priest who is unable to

sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in

every way, just as we are-yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne

of grace with confidence, so that at we may receive mercy and find grace to

help us in our time of need.'

Don't hesitate. Don't remain in your present distressing state. Ask Jesus to

forgive your past way of life, for not living to please Him. Ask Him to take

control, to give you a hope and a future. You can be sure He will as you follow

Him day by day. Pray for Him to lead you to a church where you feel 'at

home'. Read the Bible and discover for yourself all the wonderful promises

God has made to those of us who believe. These actions will help you realize

the awesome power of God. Your problems may not all go away but you will

have Jesus beside you to help you work through them with His love and power.

Don't be afraid. Go ahead and ask Him!
