I was sad when I heard a total stranger utter the above words, refering to the newspaper headlines about a killer who was described as a, "conservative Christian", this I listened to as I commuted on public transportation.

It set me thinking way back into time past; history… the time of the crusaders till our present time, very many so called Christians have never really been, TRUE FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST emulating His heart; rather their own selfish egoistical mentality and self created ideology has been their god.The problems battling the average Christian (and I, talk about true seekers of the truth and Followers of CHRIST), those who “die daily” (1 Corinthians 15: 31(KJV)) are numerous; social, financial, physical and above all; spiritual. 

In this list is also old family traditions of men and cultural belief and mentality passed on in the generational line of the family as faith and Christian way-of-life!

Our number one enemy has sowed such great confusion in the midst and in the hearts of men, that, it is AN UPHILL task to remain focused on the author and finisher of our faith, OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR CHRIST JESUS.  Hebrews 12:2

Some even doubt the authenticity of the Bible now, some water down the true meaning in their own intellect while even a higher number ‘modernise’ the words of God and peg it down to an archaic historical instruction book of the law  of an ancient people- tossed about by every wind of doctrine. No more fire within, ONLY strange fire brought in and offered at the altar, by the charlatans who have infiltrated the church in LARGE numbers!

Prayerlessness and lack of in-depth study of the word-of-God (that is, if studied at all!) Acts 4:31 

Prayerless Christians are powerless Christians!Romans 6:1-2. We cannot continue to sin and expect grace to abound- compromising godly standards and keeping Christianly STIFF UPPER LIPS and not having audible voices(where and when necessary) speaking God’s UNCHANGING standards to a VERY lost world. John the Baptist took such a RIGID stand to declare and proclaim God’s coming judgment 

Prayer is the Key to open doors of God’s power released into a Christian’s life. Prayer is the secret to divine power. Daniel was caged with hungry lions because his prayers terrorized the DEMONIZED bureaucrats of Babylon He pierced the darkness hovering over the land with POWER PRAYERS. Remember Elijah; he prayed and FIRE fell from heaven. 

Pray with divine knowledge until the most High responds. REVELATIONS 3:20

Be not discouraged but spiritually identify the evil one in his crafty manifestations all around. Watch and pray for the times are indeed evil. Matthew 26:41; Ephesians 5:16 (KJV)
