A loss of identity

To begin to fix this major loss of identity; mangled and broken homes, and societies that are crashing all around us like a pack of cards, the MALE that has been given the divine mandate to lead and be in charge, must first be fixed.

Many men of the twenty-first century do not have a clue what it means to be men. From one society to another around the globe, within communities and cultures; the role of the man is defined with distorted understanding. From one generation to another, warped ideas are passed on within institutionalized cultures and mindset.

 This has immensely contributed to a loss of identity crisis; with no particular goal in life, no understanding of what his role is as a man .thereby suffering feelings of despair, hopelessness and transferred resentment which often manifests in the form of various types of domestic violence, family abandonment, continual pursuit of happiness in a sexual spree/rampage (having a brood of children all over the place)

To add insult to injury, the ‘man’ keeps company that adds no value to his life even going to the same for help and advice about his life and family, because he hears from these ones ONLY what they know he wants to hear; which is contrary to good and growth for the family.

Psalm 1

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

² But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

  Institutionalized aspects of society daily assaults the manhood of the man with promulgated laws and modernised mindset contrary to God’s divine set-up, that has left men in a confused delirium, of who they are, so much so that some men are in a limbo of femininity!

Absenteeism is the order of the day because the man’s identity is in crisis. He runs away from the field of battle (his home and family). He disregards his role to be an example and a role model, to provide for and protect.

Malachi 4

5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:

6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse

 Jesus chose 12 disciples… All Men... Why?

Jesus came with the original blueprint to deal with and heal humanity, God molded only one human being out of the earth , the second (woman) was taken out of the man. God created man for a unique purpose to fulfill His divine plans on the earth.

Here in this century is A very broken MALE who is in dire straits, not  knowing if he is male or female, feeling unwanted and he feels insecure in every way and ends up taking it out on whoever is closest to him or in some instance, the society at large; because usually, he keeps every insecure feeling of hopelessness bottled up.

Proverbs 29:18-19

God’s original plan started with the man, (Adam) as a FOUNDATION for the family; the devil has fought this plan not to be made manifest since he and the myriad of angels that rebelled with him, were thrown out of heaven.

Psalm 62:1-12 

Conclusion:

Finally; remember brethren, Eve met Adam in GOD’S PRESENCE in a pure state and in direct connection with God. Adam was a WORKING man with a job provided by the most High!

Let the man who is determined and on a quest to turn around his life;

 in all humility, Identify the problem as a problem, and admit that you need help through the identity crisis.

Return to God and get understanding, learn from the master teacher, Jesus Christ. 

Seek His face and dive into His word until you find YOUR SENSE OF PURPOSE. It is right there in the Bible and it will restore your self esteem and lost confidence in whom and whose you are.

God made the man and said; dominate and occupy till He comes.(Genesis 1:28; 2:4-5)

David’s admonition to his son, Solomon;

³ And keep the charge of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:
