Happiness

The lord said in his word he will give us peace that surpasses all. This is a hard pill to swallow when you been through a divorce. It feels like death and you feel broken. I have been there and it is not a good feeling. I went through so many days rehearsing what I could have done different. I prayed and ask God to heal me. God is always there in our storms. His comfort is like no other that can take its place. It took me years to get through the pain of my divorce. I had to pray and examine my issues through Christ. I had to forgive my ex for the hurt he caused. I had to take responsibility for my wrongs too. It took long to heal because I was angry and had hatred in my heart. The forgiveness was for the bondage that held me through hate. I can say I am healed and free from hurt today.  If you are thinking about divorce and feel confused about the situation. Give your marriage to God and let him handle it. Always pray before you make any decision and regret it. Don’t let people tell you what to do in your marriage. God is the one that can give you the answers you need in the situation. 

I don’t regret the lesson I learned from my brokenness. I know that God is my strength and I trust him. I know what a healthy relationship is supposed to be. I know two broken people can’t fix each other. God should always be first in any relationship. Marriage should glorify God and not us. Forgiveness is always the key to peace and healing. My divorce is not a death sentence in my life. God still love me and there is hope after pain. Pray and meditate on his word daily. Examine yourself in Christ and let him heal your heart. Take all the time you need to heal from the pain. Watch God do a healing inside of you and manifest his will for your life. The last thing to do is help others with your testimony.
