THEY CAME FROM OUTER SPACE
by
Christian Belyea
You are lying on your bed in the dead of night when an intense white light floods your room. Suddenly, alien creatures materialize around you. They are hideous-looking, gray beings with large heads, spindly limbs and huge, fathomless eyes, eyes which are peering at you intently. “Do not be afraid,” they speak with their minds. Then they levitate you off your bed.
You rise in the air like smoke, pass through the ceiling, and float beneath the starry sky. Their spaceship hovers above you, extending a light beam that draws you up into their craft. Inside, they place you onto a metal table and examine you methodically. They poke you, they prod you, and they probe you in places unmentionable. You shake your head in protest. Why are they doing this? What do they want? They say you are safe, you have been chosen, but you are still afraid. You clamp shut your eyes. When you open them, you are back alone in your bed. The light is gone. The nightmare is over.
This is a typical account of the alien abduction experience as reported by people worldwide. These individuals, who are called contactees, abductees, and experiencers, are not fringe elements of society, either. In other words, they are not drug addicts or whackos. They are doctors, lawyers, teachers, perhaps even your neighbours—all of them giving similar bizarre reports. 1 Most of them will not give their names publicly for fear of ridicule.
Something strange is going on. But it is not what people think. These so-called aliens are not from another planet, but rather they are demons from another dimension, having come to deceive mankind by leading us away from the truth of God. This is the most plausible explanation because said aliens defy the laws of physics, communicate through occult means, and preach a message that is anti-Christ, just as demons do.
ALIENS DEFY THE LAW OF PHYSICS
To begin with, these so-called aliens act more like spirits than they do like physical creatures; that is, they pass through solid objects just like traditional ghosts do. One “contactee” reports the following: “Occasionally, I’d wake up with little gray people all around me…As soon as I opened my eyes, they’d all run away, right through the walls.” 2
Another experiencer puts it this way: “…what I thought was a door was a closet and the visitors went through the wall of it.” 3
Finally, a third person illustrates the alien’s ability to exceed matter when she explains that “My uncle went to the stove and passed his hand right through it (the alien) in an attempt to show me there was nothing there. I saw his hand disappear as it passed through the being.” 4
In short, these aliens possess the same ability as ghosts do.
Now if such accounts do not raise a flag, then consider the fact these alien visitors levitate and are transparent like spirits.
Two anonymous witnesses claim, “The new person or visitor was luminescent and floated,” 5 whileanother contactee adds, “The odd part was that you could see right through them…” 6 Yet another experiencer confirms this by reporting, “These so-called gray beings move, float, or glide about easily.” 7
While all of the visitors in these accounts act in strikingly similar ways to the ghosts of lore, what makes them even more akin to ghosts is the fact these creatures glow—emitting a light of their own.
One person who encountered them stated: “To my utter amazement, there stood a form about three to four feet high in the doorway of my room. My best description is that it was all energy and light.” 8
Still another experiencer claims: “Suddenly we were both awakened by an intense white light…[I]t was coming from everywhere, that is, there were no shadows, everything was white, blazing white, and then the light was gone, plunging us into total darkness.” 9
Interestingly, the Bible says Satan often appears as an angel of light in order to deceive people (2 Corinthians 11:14); so it is odd these aliens also appear as entities of light. And just like spirits, the aliens pass through solid objects and float.
ALIENS ARE CHANNELED TELEPATHICALLY
Not only do these aliens present in a spiritual sense, they also communicate to experiencers the way spirits do; that is, they speak to people through psychic mediums, possess people, and even go so far as to bestow psychic abilities on certain individuals, especially if said individuals were already dabbling in the occult, to begin with.
For starters, these so-called aliens speak through human hosts the same way that spirits speak through mediums during séances. For instance, one abductee claims, “Both times, I also heard a “voice” that talked to me through my mind; this terrified me.” 10
Another claimant states, “I am a channeller for spirits, extraterrestrials, and Brotherhoods of Light and Love and Truth…I gave my consent to let them (the aliens) come into me and speak.” 11
Still another contactee adds, “The last thing I remember is its voice coming over my vocal cords, from within me, and I was totally not in control. It said, “Let us begin.” 12
These entities even use the occult technique of automatic writing to communicate with people. This means they indwell a person and use his or her hand to write what they want to communicate. As one experiencer puts it, “This being took my pen and a piece of paper and tried to draw something, using my hand.” 13
Secondly, and even scarier than alien voices speaking through a person, is the horrific realization these extraterrestrials (ETs) actually try to possess contactees, as well.
One writer, who regularly receives alien visitors, claims, “…one of the most incredible secrets of close encounters (is) the sensation of being inhabited by an intelligent form. I have had this terrifying feeling myself.” 14
Even more disturbing is the assertion by another experiencer who reports the following: “I thought a bomb had blown me to pieces and that ‘I’ was nowhere. After a few seconds, the vacuum of what used to be me was filled by an entity of total evil. This evil thing so terrified me that I wanted to start fighting, until I became conscious that I was unable to move my limbs … After I gained control…We (his wife and he) both put it down to … perhaps an attempted possession…” 15
Yet one more contactee recounts his encounter with an alien who tried to take over his body: “(My friends) said that my posture changed, and when I spoke, my voice was different – lower, more raspy. It was not me speaking … I was angry with this being for taking over my body … and it happened again that night.” 16
From the above examples, one can see these attempts by aliens to take over people’s bodies are more akin to demonic possessions than they are to encounters with actual beings from other planets. Alien abduction researchers Peter Hough and Moyshe Kalmen also believe something evil is afoot during these alien encounters when they state the following: “Remove the UFO trappings (and) in a former age the experience would have been perceived as a close encounter with a demon.” 17
Finally, many of the people having these alien encounters develop occult abilities after their experiences.
According to Whitley Streiber, author of several books on alien abduction, as well as an experiencer himself, puts it, close-encounter witnesses develop “the ability to … travel out of body, to slip back and forth in time, to levitate, to recall past lives and read the minds of others.” 18
To further the point, one abductee claims: “I am a 53 years young, wife, mother, grandmother, and psychic ... I’d awake to an inner voice calling my name.” 19
One more victim of the alien encounter phenomena informs us the aliens had given her mental exercises “which I thought had made me psychic. I certainly could hear people’s thoughts.” 20
In fact, one abductee, who has always been involved in the occult, says: “I can and have done healings … and given many people messages (from the beyond). Some are the results of my own psychic abilities … I’m a mental psychic.” 21
Without a doubt, a great many of the people who had these alien encounters were already involved in the occult in some form or another, leaving them wide open to attacks by deceptive spirits.
ALIENS FLOUT THE GOD OF THE BIBLE
Now, if aliens communicating with people the way spirits do were not enough to convince readers said aliens are not who they say they are, but are actually demonic spirits, the fact that these visitors are proclaiming a message that usurps God’s position, denies Christ, and promotes a belief in reincarnation and in man’s divinity should be conclusive these aliens are up to no good. Interestingly, the Bible anticipates this happening when it claims that “[I]f we or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed (Galations 1:8). And preaching another gospel is exactly what these aliens are doing.
For instance, the aliens are claiming to abductees that “man was not created by a personal God, but by ETs thousands of years ago, ETs who have been overseeing our genetic evolution and development.” 22 These beings are saying: “We were the ones who designed all life on earth. You mistook us for gods. We were at the origins of your main religions.” 23
These aliens even go so far as to malign the God of the Bible, stating He was an evil alien who created the Christian mindset. They inform abductees: “You terrestrials refer to him as the God from the Bible, but we named him “’Jehovah, the Unjust and Cruel.’ His death took place approximately 2,150 years ago. He was a very evil and power- hungry life form.” 24
Now contrast such alien declarations with two pronouncements from the Bible: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth,” not aliens (Genesis 1:1); and “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever should believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Both these passages contradict the aliens’ message about God and His intentions.
Said aliens not only want us to believe they are gods, but they go one brazen step further by claiming Jesus is not the Saviour of mankind. They claim: “No one religion is right. We are all on the same path. It doesn’t matter what you believe.” 25 In other words, the visitors are telling people that Jesus was lying when He said, “I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). In fact, one alien, calling himself Jesus, states, “…the salvation I bring is indeed about your souls, but for salvation of your souls, you need a place to live (another planet), to continue your journey to godhood, known as evolution of your soul.” 26
Such messages are disturbing according to alien abduction researcher William Schnoebelen, who writes: “ The alien’s gospel is that Jesus is not unique … there is no sin, damnation, or hell … Biblical truth and Bible-believers are somehow backward and are standing in the way of human evolution.” 27
By “human evolution,” what these aliens mean is that man is reincarnated repeatedly as he evolves towards perfection. In the words of our other-worldly visitors, “[S}ome humans create their own illnesses as a way of leaving this earth; some have another lifetime to begin and can’t do it until they end this one.” 28
The aliens want us to believe: “[M]an has evolved. Man has also had a series of perilous lives, and therefore we have all experienced reincarnation.” 29 Furthermore, the ETs blasphemously proclaim men are reincarnated until they reach a state of perfection. Their message is “Each and every person will know that he is GOD!” 30
These aliens want men to think there is no sin to be accounted for to God, but that mankind works out his or her own salvation through a series of lifetimes until they reach a state of godhood. The aliens say that human souls are recycled during their “journey to Godhood, known as the evolution of your soul.” 31
Such nonsense, incidentally, is the same lie Satan told Eve in the Garden of Eden. He said if Eve defied God and ate the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge Between Good and Evil, she and Adam would become like God (Genesis 3:5). But they did not become gods. Instead, when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they began to die—spiritually at first, and eventually physically. And they passed on that fate to the rest of humankind because prior to Adam and Eve’s sin, the two had eternal life on earth. Furthermore, when it comes to reincarnation, the Bible says there is no such thing, “For it is appointed unto man to die once, but after this, judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). Regardless of what the Bible says, these aliens are insisting they and not the Bible possess the truth, and that the contactees have been chosen to reveal to the world these revelations.
Why would these aliens be coming to earth now to run down the God of the Bible and to preach a new gospel? Why didn’t they come two thousand years ago to expose Christ—who claimed to be God’s Son—as a fraud when he died on the cross for our sins? Surely people would have not fallen for the message of the cross all these years if alien life forms had contradicted Christ’s message from the start. This indicates the hour is short for Christ’s return and that the demons are stepping up their activity quickly.
And why should we believe the messages of the aliens, anyway? After all, they have lied to contactees before by telling people they hailed from such planets as Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and Jupiter, all of them hostile planets. 32 For example, in 1953, a so-called alien told George Adamski that it was from Saturn. 33 Then in 1959, another alien told Frank Stranges that it was from Venus. 34 But science has since proven that the planets in our solar system are so inhospitable no creature could survive there. So, if the aliens lied about that, why should we believe their latest revelations?
We shouldn’t, because they lie, just as their master, Satan, lies. In fact, Jesus called Satan “the father of lies” (John 8:44).
In an attempt to draw people further away from God, these demonic visitors are taking a different tact, having modernized their deception to meet popular culture. However, tales of encounters with them are no different than they have always been throughout history, according to Lynn E. Catoe. She was the senior bibliographer for the Library of Congress who wrote a document in 1969 called UFOs and Related Subjects. In it, she concluded the following: “A large part of the available UFO literature is closely linked with mysticism and the metaphysical. It deals with subjects like mental telepathy, automatic writing and invisible entities as well as phenomenon (sic) like poltergeist manifestations and possession. Many of the UFO reports now being published in the popular press recount alleged incidents that are strikingly similar to demonic possession and psychic phenomenon that have long been known to theologians and parapsychologists.” 35
In other words, all alien encounter literature parallels occult literature.
Interesting…
These so-called aliens appear like ghosts, possess the living, and preach a false gospel, the same way Satan and his minions do when they present as disembodied spirits, speak through psychics, and try to malign the God of the Bible. But what would the devil stand to gain from such a deception? Quite simply—peoples’ souls. You see, Satan and his minions know the hour is late, that their days are numbered (Revelation 12:12), and so they want to drag as many people down with them as possible. To that effect, they are increasing their efforts to turn people away from the truth—the truth that only Jesus Christ can save us when we admit we are sinners and ask Him to be our Savior (Acts, 16:30). Satan does not want men to believe the Bible which states “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). To be sure, Satan wants men to reject the true God and His offer of grace, and instead to believe these so-called aliens are the real gods, in order to destroy men’s souls forever.
Jesus warned us this kind of deception would happen in the last days before His return. He said, “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect” (Matthew 24:24). Jesus further warned us part of this endtimes deception would come from outer space when He stated, “… fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven” (Luke 21:11). The apostle Paul added such attacks on Biblical truth would be in accordance with “the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders (2 Thessalonians 2:9).
Now to those people who say, “God made the heavens so vast that there surely must be life forms on other planets,” the reply is: Would you think God was so mighty and awesome if He’d created only a mini-version of the heavens—one that could be measured? Not only that, but why would God one day destroy these aliens when He judges humankind? For the Bible says that on Judgment Day, God will roll up the heavens like a scroll (Revelation 6:14) and create a new heaven and a new earth (2 Peter 3:12,13). That being the case, why would God destroy those poor, innocent aliens in the process of judging humankind for their sins? Common sense says He would not, for He is faithful and merciful as His word says (Psalm 36:5).
Let’s face it: There are no aliens from outer space, just aliens from inner space—demons from the spirit realm—who are here to mislead souls into following them to hell. The alien abduction phenomenon is a great and heavenly deception, and people had better be careful whom they believe—the gospel of Jesus or the gospel of the aliens.
