A pressing issue?...Hopefully...more than just a remote possibility -

Lord:

YOU,
being my Designer and Maker
I want to turn it all over to YOU
Because YOU'RE the only one to really know
what it is that I'm created to do

Even though my batteries are powered,
And my hands are in your reachable range
With every button that I, myself, try to push
Nothing seems to ever really change

All the praise and worship done silently
All the prayers done quietly as well
the unmanifested, unsounded, exclamations of YOU!
Me, in this muted hell!

I know that YOU, my Maker,
knows exactly which of my buttons to press
To make me blare out in surround
sound
with all of YOUR glories to confess

Until then, in patient silence
I faithfully long for the day
When YOU pick up the dysfunctional controller
and push me out of OUR way

For my hope springs forth eternally
That the HI-FI issues are addressed
When YOUR Manifest Power resonates out of me,
and my "unmute" button is finally pressed!
