Join the Shepherds in their walk
As they hurry towards the route shown
Let excitement fill every fast step.
Come to the Manger of Love
Join the Angels of Heaven in their Song
Enjoy the glittering radiance all around
As we sing the Gloria in a high pitch of joy.
Come to the Manger of Love
Be One with the Light of the Guiding Star
Shine along with it to worship in truth
The Saviour born in the city of David for us all.
Come to the Manger of Love
Join the sheep and lamb in their gaze
To have in front of their very eyes
The King so sweet and royal to see.
Come to the Manger of Love
Join the Three Wise Kings in this splendid place
No palace or court could match this scene
The splendour offered in the beauty within the hay.
Come to the Manger of Love
Leave everything and proceed here quick to this live altar
To be with Mary and Joseph in their holy family
As we kneel at last before Jesus in Bethlehem
For the Word became flesh to redeem the whole world.
