God’s sense of irony
This tiny woman a
Ten-foot-tall in the Spirit
The words were repeated
And I wondered how
And why ten feet?
And why do I have to be a spiritual giant?

If I am strong in spirit
It’s from necessity
Survival
A gift and not natural
Mostly I feel tired and weak
Overwhelmed
Exhausted

The lone female warrior type
Reality much less sexy than the movie version
Or like Elijah, after slaying the prophets of Baal
Thought he was the last prophet of God
Until God fed him
Spoke to him
And opened his eyes to his allies
