Dear friend,

Isa.60:1.
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

If Moses had insisted on ministering to the polished, pampered and prosperous citizens of Egypt, he would not be one of the greatest leaders in history, who got the rare privilege to write the first 5 books of the Bible! Yet, most of his ministry happened in the dirty, dingy and dusty desert! See Heb.11:24-27.

Joseph remained in the pitiful pit, was faithful in slavery, in Potipher's home, he also served diligently in prison without attempting to sneak back to his beloved father Jacob, that's because he desired more to be God's trusted instrument of restoration, revival, and economic revolution in his world! See Genesis chapters 37, 39-41.

Our Lord, and saviour Jesus Christ came down from His heavenly throne that is filled with magnificent mansions and sophisticated streets of transparent gold, to this gloomy, dusty, dirty world. Why? Because SOLUTIONS are designed for PROBLEMS! Ever heard of a seasoned, competent medical doctor complain of too many sick people in his hospital??? No way! He desires and determines to have all of them healed! - See Matt.9:9-13.

Jesus is still saying, "I came to call sinners, heal the sick, bless the cursed/poor and destroy the works of the devil"

If we claim to be anointed, appointed and relevant to our generation, God sends us to meet needs, proffer solutions, comfort the depressed, oppressed and brokenhearted. God will not send us to pursue ready made comfort and glamour, even though that's what our flesh craves for. But we're mandated to create and initiate comfort, blessings and glory! Acts 10:38.

Many reject or delay to obey God's call like Jonah, just because the Holy Spirit sends them to tackle some dirt, gloom or darkness, but that is because YOU are the light of the world! Stop complaining and delaying. Switch on your light, the harvest is so very great, but the labourers are few, - GO AND SHINE!

Matt.5:14-16.
“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
