Poetry
If heaven had a visitor's pass
I would wait eagerly the whole day
Until the timing I would be let in
To meet my departed ones and hear their say.
If heaven had a visitor's pass
I would spend each priceless minute
Holding their hands and looking at them
Printing their images on my heart.
If heaven had a visitor's pass
I would express love whole heartedly
The times I missed doing so on earth
Would make sure I made it known now.
If heaven had a visitor's pass
I would listen to their every word
Pay heed to the advices they give
To live them out when back in the world.
If heaven had a visitor's pass
I would revel in the story of paradise
A future glory awaiting us all some day
Plan my life to inherit the same share.
If heaven had a visitor's pass
I would thank God for giving me this time
To connect every day briefly with my loved ones
Until the day I would no longer need any pass
But could pass through for all time to be with them forever.
