We turn within our hearts
when we call upon Him.
It is within our hearts
from where we seek
the place He dwells
Up high between the cherubims.
From where He rules our lives
in love and justice.

It are our own sinful eyes
which needs adjusting
for when we look outside
then we see everything wrongly
we must keep our eyes
turned to Him Alone
who sits enthroned
in Heavenly glory!

For sin doesn't matter
when it is wrong
and you love to do away with it!
Not to do away with good things
but only with wrong things
things that just harm
and bring more bad life
into our lives down here

With Jesus there is life
much good life to be gained.
The ability to suffer life down here
is but one dimension
of existence with Him
to take it on the chin
is not new with Him
as anyone who knows Him knows.

Yet no one can beat His truth
no one has that ability.
No one can outsmart true
the truth carries the scars
of all our wicked deeds
who among us can say
our truth is not true
or never was as is?

Yet the truth is God loves
unlike we did when we sinned.
That is the good news
of all of the Gospel
Jesus is alive and well
ruling from Heaven.
Patiently waiting Harvest Time
to grow into our hearts.
