I await your glances
To bring forth the lustre
From deep within my eyes
To shine out into the open.

I await your glances
That speaks my name aloud
The sound of it from your voice
Is so pleasing to my ears.

I await your glances
To take it right into
The very core of my heart
Chase any shadows that blocks my view.

I await your glances
To melt right into my soul
Conform itself to my senses
Read the phrases that it tells.

I await your glances
To follow your every move
Stare into them forever
Never shifting my gaze away.

I await your glances
To soak myself into
The love that it offers
The strength that it emits.

I await your glances
To slide my gaze into yours
Place my look into your look
So we remain inseparable always.

I await your glances
And one glance is not enough
Hardly the first glance is in place
My heart awaits the next glance and many more.

I await your glances
To see the world afresh
Through the wisdom in your eyes
What a beautiful sight it is!

I await your glances
For you to carry me along
In your eyes everywhere you go
I can thus reside forever in your glance.
