what would you be?
Would you be strong and brisk?
Would you be sweet yet rich?
Would you be green and iced?
Would you be a blend of sweet and spice?
What would you be if you were a cup of tea?

If you were in a tea shop
and sat on a shelf
would you be popular and cheap
or would you be expensive and rare?
Would you be organic
and toxin free?
What would you be if you were a canister of tea?

What kind of ground
would your leaves come from?
Would your soil be good?
Would your roots be sound?
Would you be bitter
if steeped too long?
Would you get cloudy
if shaken around?

Whatever your process
or the length of your steep
God knows what He’s serving
so rest and believe
that He knows how to serve you
the way you should be.
