The cause and remedy of our finitude to perfect godliness

Have we ever thought why we often fail to understand the ways of the Lord and the Lord Himself?

Do we not feel the timidity due to our finitude? How can we expand our horizon to know more and better?

Here Jesus confirms our limitations and how we can overcome it…

“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.”

John16:12 NKJV

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.”

John 16:13-14 NKJV

The only way to know God best is through His Spirit in our lives, for as is mentioned in the verse above the Holy Spirit will guide us where the Lord wants us to be.

Our own pursuit of godliness by dependence on self and others of our similitude may lead us to wrong conclusions, yet when we sail on the wings of the Holy Spirit and in perfect submission to Him, He will lead us in God’s perfect will to achieve the God desired goal in our life.

Enough! That we have pretended to know, feel and experience God.

Let’s use this blessed privilege to know God through His Spirit.

What really awaiteth the soul led by the Holy Spirit is ‘immense beauty of God’s glory,’, ‘the deepest understanding and experience of His Agape love’, ‘the perfect hope and confidence in all circumstances’, & ‘the power enabling us to witness God’s love and grace’.

The above are but a few blessedness we will experience when the Holy Spirit will come in our life, yet if asked to summarize what the Holy Spirit does in our life?

In the words of the Prophet Samuel….

“Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man.” 1 Samuel 10:6 NKJV

Did we not desire this? To be a different person? A better person?

The Holy Spirit will enable us, the Holy Spirit will make us.
