If I can trust man...

who is prone to weaknesses, prejudice and mistakes;

He loves with passionate lust and hates vehemently with the flimsiest reason

He is full of jealous rage and envious pride

He is unforgiving and instinctively vindictive in disposition

This man is my doctor and surgeon, the nurse and care giver who gives patients injections and administers medication

he is my children´s teacher in the school

He is the judge who presides over cases in the courtroom

He is the advocate assigned to my case by the state,

the architect of my home and the builder thereof

He is the waiter at the restaurant and saucy sales person

He is different types of people that i MUST come in contact with, daily
and unavoidably commit myself in their hands


But You Lord are; Omnipotent, Omnipresent, unconditionally loving
Full of mercy and grace, the perfect teacher and unfailing healer,
my redeemer, advocate and fair judge
always ready to embrace the prodigal back into your loving arms

If I can trust man, dear Lord, why not you:
the one who would neiter wish harm to me
nor pretend love in hypocrisy in order to carry out devlish intensions on me,

Psalm 20:7
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.


If I can trust man, dear Lord, why not you the infallible one!
