My faith in Jesus lingers as I follow his ways
He helps me to live through sad and consuming days.
He lifts me up when I’m feeling blue
and makes everything bright and brand new.


Jesus is more than my Savior
He’s my big brother and a definite friend.
He gives me hope with a spiritual flavor.
He is my life from beginning to end.

Jesus so often shows me the direction I need to be going in.
He promises eternal life and then when I have to…
He helps me to start all over again.

My precious Jesus. I love you so.
If you weren’t with me, how could I grow?
My prayer is that you’ll always be with me
Just so I’ll know, I’ll get to Heaven where I belong.
Then I’ll be free and all my sorrows will be gone.
