Your the Way
You're the Truth Lord
Your words give me strength
And guide me everyday.

When someone convinced me
And blinded me to your Truth
You kept a hold of me
And fought through.

You put your words in front of me
But their ideas
Mislead me
And covered what is true.
They taught me that you were just a man
The son of God
Who I was to follow
But to never worship
Or seek your praise.

They spoke of someone else
They used a different name
They devalued your very existence
And took away the true meaning of your sacrifice.

They say they know the bible
That they know the Truth
But they are blinded by a group of men
Who tell them what to do.

I was once apart of that
I agreed to their terms
And now because of that
My parents have to keep me at a distance
For they say I may corrupt their very thoughts.
But you know me lord
You know how I truly feel.

For I know now that you are the Truth
Because the bible tells me so
I will not let someone take your place
I will Worship you
I will Thank you everyday
I will pray to you
And you alone.

For you are My Savior,
My Lord,
My Heavenly Father,
My God.
For your name will remain
Forever in my heart.
For you are the Way,
The Truth,
And the Life.
I will continue to seek you
For the Truth that was hidden from me.
