Is it the gateway drug
or just another gateway?

To give up on your hope
put life’s responsibilities
on anyone in the way

Someone run my life,
while I just take a day.
Problems of this world,
shoot up, and burn away.

Scared to just fit in,
just have a drink you’ll feel ok.

The world burns down around us
ive got some pills to kill your pain.
Don’t worry their from a doctor
who now lives on fifth street and Broadway.

The path we take is broad
don’t we know another way?

The government will save us
but to them you are a dumb monkey.
They save us from our selves
Now take this shot and go away.

They do it for your freedom
