God poured the oceans out
Just so I could sit listening to waves shout

God set fire to the sun
To tenderly warm the faces of the old and of the young

God painted leaves truest green
Just so that by me they could be seen

God gave His light to the stars bright
To leave a piece of Heaven for me to see at night

God placed the moon in the night sky
Just so that I could marvel and wonder how high

God created in His image, all
To have us as His children, despite the Fall

God gave His Son to die
He paid a most precious price for you and I

God only asks for us to come
To receive the sweet salvation of His Son

Receive Christ as your Savior if you haven’t done so
And most assuredly, to Heaven you will go
