My Therapeutic Friend

I am glad to have you this morning in my life

My heart was filled with joy when I saw you coming down from the clouds

I ran into the house to see you through my window

Then I heard the touch of your fingers sliding on the glass

 Whispering softly with the mist “I am here”

The rain refreshes my soul,

It makes my heart dance with the beat of every drop

Many things to do: work, family, school, church, and no time to relax.

You are a fresh therapy for my busy life,

A divine balm falling down like a gift from up high,

A day with you is also well for my mind

It brings back memories of the best times of my early life

When as kids we played on muddy roads, splish-splash downhill

 From puddle to puddle you lighted up our world

A beautiful healing moment that I don’t want to let go, Like the Comforter with my soul

Thanks for coming today and stop by my life

I can see you are leaving by the colors in the sky-I just want you to know

That the dryness of my heart goes away when you are here

Do not let it pass to long this time, and comeback soon-because like the Comforter

I miss you already, and you are not even gone.
