 A Conversation With Grief

I knew you would come one day,

Although I can honestly say, I did not think it was going to be today.

I heard about the damage you cause, like a cancer destroying silently everything inside

Indeed I am falling short on describing your work.

The Numbness, the confusion, like a ship lost in the middle of the ocean in a perfect storm

An earthquake of agony and pain shaking my strongest faith,

The anger of becoming impotent to restrain the tears and the fear to live it again-the disgust of having you knocking on my door today-Come in if you like, but be warned, I am not alone.

Let me introduce him, although you may already know his name

He takes me by the hand throughout the desolated roads of your unwanted visit

He fills my life with eternal hope, transforms my cry in a peaceful song

My friend knows how to heal every suffering part of me with love, because He cares

He understands me perfectly- He knows what is suffering and He even Knows what is to be death

I knew you would come one day, so you came, and every one of your attacks I overcame.

Now I will share others my dilemma, so when you knock on their door,

They better have my friend from Nazareth by their side to overcome.
