This may not be how my life pans out but a girl can dream. If I had a home, it would have a peaceful atmosphere. It would be spacious and uncluttered. There would not be static of the TV or radio junking it up. If there were sound it would be music and not voice.

The kind of home I would have would be small and low maintenance. I probably would forget to dust but it would be tidy and organized. There would definitely be a book shelf that filled one wall.

It would not be the hospitality house like the one I grew up in but it would be a place of rest. I would hope it would be such that there was an open heaven and it was easy to communicate with God in that space.

I would have a little studio where I would do my writing and art. And if you looked from room to room, the word traditional would not come to mind. I figure that you could walk into the entry way and see a bright red wall – just because; Just because you would normally see a closet.

There would be good art on the wall and perhaps an ever-growing mural. It would spread like a vine that grew; and wind in and out of the rooms. It would have bright colors and make use of the negative space around furniture. It would not be a junky place. People who drove by would sense a whole different world there.

The house would be a no-demon zone. Tormented people could walk through the door and discover what it is like to live without the rat-tat-tat of sound hitting their mind. Sick people would get healed upon entering its threshold. I suppose the neighbors would call it the miracle house.

People wouldn’t necessarily be smiling but they would be happy there in a way that is genuine.
