   Imagine for a moment if, over the course of his or her life, another person had seen all that you have seen of the miraculous workings of God, if he or she had witnessed, and listened to, and absorbed all the anointed teaching and preaching that you have listened to and, hopefully, absorbed, and if, in short, he or she had received all the opportunities and privileges that you have received over the years, and had so many doors opened so wide for them as you have had opened.  Would that hypothetical one be what you are today?  Would that one be where you are today, having arrived at the same approximate level of spiritual growth where you find yourself today?  Or would that one be far beyond where you are or be in some totally different place from where you are?  I am not only asking you, of course, but I am asking myself.  There is no condemnation intended in this, but I for one am feeling the need to ask God to forgive me for not having taken better advantage of all that I have seen, heard and been given.  I am asking God to teach me before it is too late to take full advantage of all of it, to teach me how to take this life that remains and time that I've been given and make it yield the most fruit it possibly can yield for the glory of God. 
   Thinking of all that God has invested in our lives and through so many different vessels since we were born and then since we were born anew, may we from this moment forward bring and lay at His feet the highest possible return proportionate to and worthy of such a generous investment made.  Amen.
