I wonder what waits for me in my new home.
Will I dance with angels and sing the praise songs?
It's hard to imagine just what I will find.
Excitement I have for that day to arrive.

To be in your presence will be oh so great.
The thought makes me glad when we are face-to-face.
A dream it will be when I'm finally with you.
The days that we'll share will be like sweet perfume.

We'll talk of the days when I wrote and I rhymed.
The memories of old when I sat and I cried.
Those times when you touched me so deeply within.
I'll tear up and smile and then tell you again.

For now I will wait in great hopes of that time.
My faith will sustain me until we abide.
Look for me when I will enter your gates.
I'll come then rejoicing and giving all thanks.
