YOU have turned – my curse into a blessing.

There is no curse or bondage which God cannot break or remove.

If the world has closed down all hope or declared as accursed any person, family or nation….God can overturn that and make them blessed, for He can make a way where there’s none.

“Others said, “This is the Christ.”

But some said, “Will the Christ come out of Galilee?”

John 7:41 NKJV

Being a Galilean was considered accursed at the time of Jesus due to popular trend which stated that “No prophet ever came out of Galilee.”

They answered and said to him, “Are you also from Galilee? Search and look, for no prophet has arisen out of Galilee.”

John 7:52 NKJV

There is a blessed character in the Bible called Jabez, very little is mentioned about him in the Bible, however Jabez is one of the most blessed examples of a person who got his life transformed by the power and grace of the Lord God.

The story of Jabez is summed up in the following two verses:

Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.

1 Chronicles 4:9-10 NKJV

When his mother gave him a cursed name, the Lord heard his prayer, blessed him and took away his reproach.

Let’s Hope in God at all times, even though the world may have called off on us and declared us a failure and a curse, the Lord can bless us.

Here’s how the Lord promises to bless us:

“if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV

& this will be our testimony…..

“You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.”

Psalm 30:11 NKJV
