A Special Invitation – Come to Christ

With Adam and Eve’s fall in the Garden of Eden, the sin nature became part of every human being from that time forward.  We are born with this sin nature.  It is present in us even before we commit our first sin.  Sinning is not something we have to be taught.  It comes naturally to each of us.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the Creator of every human being.  He created the Earth with all its beauty and filled it with a bountiful variety of animals.  He created the universe with its planets, stars, and galaxies.  The angelic hosts are part of His creation handiwork.  “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”  (John 1:3 / KJV) 

The purpose for every aspect of His creation is to bring Him pleasure and glory.  His creation of mankind, however, was most precious to Him – so much so that He sent His Son to die for our sins.  No other provision would suffice.  “The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.”  (Job 33:4 / KJV)

It was God’s choice to create each of us.  It is our choice, however, whether or not we choose to become a child of God.  The provision was made by Jesus.  The decision to accept or reject that provision has to be made individually by each one of us.

Have you made that decision for yourself?  If not, I pray you’ll do so today.

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY TO GOD.  THERE IS NO OTHER WAY.

The Sinner’s Prayer:                        Lord Jesus, I know that I’m a sinner.  I know that You alone are God.  I believe that You died for my sins.  I believe You were buried and that you arose from the dead on the third day.  I believe you ascended into Heaven and are now at the right hand of God the Father.  Please forgive me of my sins.  I accept you as my Saviour.  From this point forward, please be the Lord of my life, guiding everything I do and say, every decision I make.  Thank you, Lord.  I pray this in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
