The Lord is good, as we know,
A fortress when in trouble;
A shelter where we can go,
And rescue from the rubble.

He makes a destructive flood,
And pursues foes in the dark;
Sea of red flows from their blood,
From the sin where they embark.

What do you think of the Lord?
The One that brings to an end;
The sin that many adored,
As others they do offend.

Why are some against the Lord?
Acting like they are afraid;
Getting drunk so God is ignored,
Though your body has decayed.

People are like tangled thorns,
Being drunk on their own drink;
Ignoring what God forewarns,
Because they no longer think.

A person who plans evil,
Against the Lord has set out;
His advice from the devil,
Does not think twice and not doubt.

Maybe physically fit,
But mentally they are not;
For their spiritual merit,
That none of them ever sought.

They will be cut down and die,
Though the Lord has been humble;
But because they cheat and lie,
Discontent as they grumble.

God will break the yoke and chains,
If they will just change their ways;
And yielding abundant grains,
If each one no longer strays.

But a herald on the hill,
Will announce the Good News;
Celebrate to cure your ill,
God gives a new path to choose.
