READ FOR YOURSELF: Exodus 9-12

TODAY’S KEY VERSE

“Our livestock also shall go with us; not a hoof shall be left behind. For we must take some of them to serve the Lord our God, and even we do not know with what we must serve the Lord until we arrive there.” EXODUS 10:26 (NKJV)

--NO HOOF LEFT BEHIND-- 

The dawn of freedom is a glorious moment in the life of any person. Whether it is from a bad relationship, tyranny of a government, or leaving a job that drains the life in your soul. For whatever reason liberty has come, you leave entirely. If it is from a relationship, you pack all your bags and collect all your things to make sure you never have to set foot into their presence again. At a job you clean out your workstation leaving no trace of your existence. Freedom is only a reality once all of you has been liberated.

Christ has freed us from sin. Not only the sinful actions of our past, but the very weakness that bends us toward it. He gives us the ability to exchange our bonds of shame for life everlasting; life to the fullest degree imaginable. The requirement for this experience is total removal of the old you that is forever shackled to the chains of this world. 

Prayer: Dear God, remove the old me. Check every closet and under every piece of furniture in my heart for anything that stands in opposition to you. Unshackle my heart God so it can experience the freedom of life found in you. Amen.
