It is good to give thanks and praise,
Making music with voice to raise;
Unto the Lord of the most High,
And to whom we cannot deny.

It is good for mercy and grace,
In the morning feel His embrace;
Such faithfulness throughout the day,
Till evening as sky turns gray.

He made me find joy and be glad,
No more tears ever feeling sad;
For knowing in what He has done,
The sacrificing of His Son.

I sing joyfully of His deeds,
Catering to all of my needs;
How very deep coming from each thought,
That so many miracles brought.

A stupid person cannot know,
The goodness that the blessings flow;
And a fool cannot understand,
Why not to step on sinking sand.

Wicked people sprout like the weeds,
That will spread the corrupted seeds;
Troublemakers bloom like flowers,
That will wilt just like milk sours.

But the Lord is laud forever,
Bonded by love not to sever;
He makes me as strong and wild,
But as gentle as a child.

My eyes gloat over those who spy,
My ears hear sobbing from the cry;
The Lord rushes to comfort them,
Abolish evil to condemn.

God has planted us in His house,
Allowing us to be His spouse;
To blossom as we bear His fruit,
Driving deep in the ground each root.

We still bear fruit though we are old,
Healthy and fresh as we unfold;
Fertilized with a joyous sound,
Firmly planted on solid ground.
