The Joy of the redeemed.
And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all that I ever did.” So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. And many more believed because of His own word. Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.”
John 4:39-42 NKJV
The whole Samaritan issue has now become a win-win situation. It just started with the Lord Jesus taking the route of Samaria (thus breaking the Jewish tradition of hatred towards the Samaritans), Jesus asking for water to the Samaritan woman, revealing to her, her own pathetic state, yet not leaving her a broken sinner, rather offering her the water of life and eventually she instead reaching out to the other Samaritans telling them the Good news.
Just Imagine! How much more we can attain if we just break the barrier of hatred and prejudice and seek to forgive others and be forgiven.
Now the presence of the Lord is felt by all and His peace is permeating the precious souls.
In recent times, we hear of wars and violence everywhere, and the Bible clearly mentions the reason for this:
Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
James 4:1-10 NKJV
It is our own selfish motives and desires, our pride and prejudice that drives us to war, yet the best part over here is that we could have all we need and much more through prayer.
Prayer helps us to receive that which God wants us to have always.
There are many individuals, families and groups of people who have been outcaste and hated and thus are ignorant of the Savior. The Lord wants to pass through the lives of such people and show them the way of life, so they too may have the everlasting joy within their souls.
Every soul without Christ is heading towards eternal damnation; only the acceptance of a blessed relationship with Christ will be able to transform them to be a recipient of the eternal life with God.
God Bless,
Abraham
