ON THAT DAY

I will stand at Your throne
In a robe of righteousness
For Your mercy and grace are sure.
I will kneel at Your feet
With my heart consumed by love
For the Christblood has made me pure.

I will follow the saints and the angels
To the feast of the Risen Lamb
And I'll count it all joy
That I walked through the fire
For His pain made me just who I am.

With the elders, the four and the twenty
And the angels with myriad tongues
I will give thanks so rightly
That my heart will spring lightly
To the heartbeat of heaven's Bright Son.

We will gather with solitary purpose
Yes, for us was Golgotha once mounted
And we'll cheer just to know that He bought us
With a price much too dear to be counted.
