As I was walking down the street
Whom did I per chance did meet?

A friend who was all dressed up
In labels from a wise man’s cup

Where she found this cup I did not know?
And why did she wear it just for show?

This mystery might have remained forever
Because she said the famous word “never”

“Never will I bet with friends
About a game that never ends”

Her friends were sneaky and were cunning
They led her to believe in running

Running in a big large square
They made it into one great dare

They told her if her faith was strong
God would let her run the whole day long

But the important thing she neglected to do
Was ask God first about what He knew

Was this really a game that she should play?
What was the purpose of running the whole day?

So now she roams the streets under our nose
With labels of advice stuck to her clothes

Do not listen to friends that are cunning and sneaky too
Listen to the One who will never leave or deceive you
