The Lord Intervened

Several weeks ago I found myself having problems. I was very weak, when I got up I tended to nearly pass out, was unable to think straight and was just generally about half dead. My doctor noticed that my blood pressure was real low when I woke up and was concerned. She finally decided after giving me new medicine that I need to see a cardiologist.

I was standing at my window looking out feeling like I was about ready to leave this world when the Holy Spirit spoke to me. He told me that He was going to open up my artery rather than let me die. I prayed and asked him to do this and within minutes I started to feel more normal again. Within days my strength came back, most of the dizziness left and I was able to think again more clearly. I am still going to make an appointment to see the cardiologist as I have no idea what the Lord did other than opening an artery. I still at times have some minor chest pain so just in case there is more to be done I figure I will get checked out. It is also interesting as after the doctor sent the referral I was put on hold by the insurance. The Lord knew this was going to happen. If I had to wait to get to the cardiologist, I think I would have died already. I guess the Lord has some reason for me to still be on earth though I wonder often what and why. God surely is holding the strings on whether I live or die. I have told him more than once the scripture, whether I live or die it is the Lord. The choice is His, not mine. So I praise Him for his faithfulness to intervene at a really crucial time and for what He must have in store for me up ahead.
