Thank You






Thank you for the morning
On waking up to hear
The song of birds singing
Of joy which is so clear

Thank you for the food
Upon the table stands
Various kinds of tasty things
From many different lands.

Thank you for the folks
Who come and pass my way
With a kindly word or two
Makes the pleasure of the day.

Thank you for the stars
That twinkle in the sky
For when I look to heaven
I know you are standing by.
