Not For Sale
Author requests article critique

Oh to have been
Just a sheep then
A sheep on the floor
Laying next to the manger
That held my Lord

Or a shepherd in a field
Approached by an angel
Saying "go and see your King"
You'll find Him in a manger
Just a babe sleeping

Oh to have been
Mother Mary then
Wrapping my Savior
In the meekest of clothes
Kissing His forehead
And holding Him close
Oh, to have been
Mary then.
