WHERE THERE'S SMOKE, THERE'S FIRE

Where there's smoke there's fire
Is there one for hire
Don't get caught in the mire
While singing in the choir

Out the window watch it go
One's own character to throw
Now the talents will bestow
Room for trophies you know

The deeds do not align
One's achievements yet to find
Was it by innocent design
Or to give the peace of mind

Money is no object here
To help forward a career
The highest bid is cheer
Ability overcomes austere

Fame or fortune could it be
Much to evils happy plea
As long as one remains free
Hoping all will never see

If only the powers will forgo
All the wrongful cargo
By remembering the gusto
And the continued tempo

Is this old cliché "Where There's Smoke, There's Fire" true of today's  political arena ?  If so, is this causing the  candidate mistrust we see today ? And is this old idiom really ringing true in this year's election ? Well, time may only tell. 

Never before, has so  many  American  conclusions of judgment been reached in politics solely on unproven facts.  Can we voters afford to let this happen ? I think not, as this year's election is like none before. What's at stake here is the possibility of loosing our  "Religious Freedom", and "Constitutional Rights".

From a biblical perspective, we must be very careful in jumping to a conclusion of " Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire". We must prayerful researched the candidates agenda, according to the scriptures.

Very simply , to insure we are staying true to God's word (2 Timothy 3:16), and to strengthen our Christian testimony, we must stick to the Word. (Psalm 119:105 ) The scripture very clearly states we are to avoid "false impressions". (Psalm 34:13)

You see, when a candidate use the language of misdirection, or omits parts of the truth, false impressions surface. And this type maneuver will destroy our God given freedom. So, please do your political "Home Work" , then pray and be sure to vote God's principles.

This upcoming American presidential election is the most critical in human history. In recent years, America's government has progressively departed from the dictates of the Constitution. This has caused our liberties to be limited and less secure. This trend must be reversed.

Our Constitution originally combined the best of past ideas, with the modernizations of the future. This newly creative document gave us the necessary checks and balances for a free nation. Now it  seems to have been  degraded. Thus, missing it's original intent.   

Because we finite beings are not supernatural, a form of government is  necessary. Thus, the moral and legal foundation of our existence, as free agents, is the Constitution.  It must be preserved.

Sad to say, a good number of my Christian friends have vowed not to even vote. Realizing of course, that refusing to vote is a vote for the lesser candidate. My answer is simple, "I'd rather rock the boat than sink the ship".  Please pray for the election, then be sure and vote God's principles.

Please note: It is the intent of this blog to encourage the Christian community to pray, and then vote for the candidate of choice  in America's  upcoming presidential election. As this is our God given responsibility. (Romans 13:1-7)
