When I was in the tenth grade, I was required to cook something for the class.  The other girls in my class had their turn to make a dish as well individually during that week. Since I had an hour to cook a dish, I chose to make been salad.  I was nervous because I never made it before. My mother never let me cook at home until i was older.  The only thing I did was make craft dinner, and baked cakes with a freind of mine at her place.

My teacher drove me over to the nearest grocery store to get the beans, and the salad dressing.  When I started to put the beans on the stove, I was so distracted by another student from the class that I forgot about the beans that were boiling on the stove.   I lost a mark right there. Oh I thougth! There goes my confidence.  If my faith was not so strong then, I would have felt suicidal.
The next step was putting the garlic, salad dressing, and the spices in the bowl.  My teacher told me to hurry up.  I tried to hurry but my teaher told me that she was furious wiht me.  My heart sank right there.  I had impression that my teacher hated me as opposed to other of my teachers.  I almost the dressing sauce on the lettuce when it should have been in the beans, so my teacher became angry with me there because she knew that I had to be swift in order make it for the next class.

The good thing is that the bean salad tasted good.  The rest of the class had some as well. I was able to clean up in time, and make to my next class. I can now make bean salad with out any problem.  I found it to be a challenge then, but I overcame that challenge.
