The Heart What Christians Must Remember About It

We often hear about those who offer love and support only to be betrayed by selfish, darkness and apathy.

In modern times many Christian have restorted to "professionalism" and "protective policies" to deal with the "perilous times" we are presently experiencing. As Jesus foretold "Love has Cooled Off" (2 Timothy 3:1-7; Matthew 24:12).

Jesus advised Christians to be wise as serpents yet innocent as doves (Matthew 10:16).

This article will Biblically examine what Jesus Christ's advisory meant.

Followers of Jesus Christ are not unwise or gulible persons. The Bible encourages Christians to pursue wisdom (James 1:5). This wisdom will help them avoid Satan's snares (Exodus 34:12).

Christians, however, are commanded never to become "cold". Love would be the identifying mark of Authentic Followers of Jesus. This love would also be shown in obedience to God's Word (1 Peter 4:8; John 13:35; John 15:10-15).

It would be this Love that attracted others to the Christian way of life. Complacency would create apathetical or insincere Christians who would lack the Holy Spirit Power of Christ (Revelation 3:14-22).

Christians must learn to Trust In The Lord, Love others and Walk In The Spirit Of God (Proverbs 3:5-7; Galatians 5:22-25).
