Children make the sunshine when it starts to rain
Children make us happy when our hearts are filled with pain
Children paint the rainbows upon the skies of blue
Children of the world, hope you know that we love you
Pictures hanging on the wall
Christmas time and Santa Claus
Barbie dolls and climbing trees
Baseball games and skinned up knees
that's our children....
Hey little girl, hey little boy
You'll always be our pride and joy
Simple faith in God above
Valentines and puppy love
that's our children....
Stars shine brighter in the sky
From the twinkle in their eye
Smiles can turn the night to day
Little things they do and say
that's our children....
