Why Worry, Why Fret
The Father is not finished with us yet
Our time will come and our time will go
Years will go by and the time will show
Vanity of vanity the Word does proclaim
Vanity yes vanity, It all remains the same

To the moon and stars we need not fret

The rain will come down with even flow

The tides roll and the sand is stilled

Natures wonders we should never dread

When all life's problems become drained
To life's problems we should all be tamed

To the bad thoughts we should not shutter
The bad words we should never ever utter

For there's nothing new under the sun
At our days end our work will all be done

This poem is taken from (Ecclesiastes 1:1-11), which demonstrates the Futility of the cycle of life. Here, King Solomon refers to himself as the preacher, in mentioning himself, as he addresses an assembly of wise men who, in ancient Israel were one media that God used to communicate His truth to man (Jer 18:18).

Vanity of vanity...All is vanity. The hypothesis of the utter futility of all things is developed here and throughout the book of Ecclesiastes. This thesis accords with (Romans 8:20-22).

You see, there is no guarantee of positive benefit from man's work, under the sun. "Under the Sun". is simply a metonymy. Used repeatedly, "Under the Sun", simply means the earth where mankind dwells.

So, why must one worry of fret, for the futility of nature has always been present, since the creation, coupled with mans vanity. And ones worry, or ones fretfulness, will not change any circumstance of pride, conceit, egotism, and the like.

Jesus put it this way in (Matthew 6:25-34), regarding anxiety, or worry. Yes, your heavenly Father will take care of you. Take Him at His word. Please stop worrying.
