I cannot help it!  I am very suspicious of political mud slingers.

In District 8 in North Carolina the contest is between Tim D'Annunzio and "Somebody" Hudson, for a seat in Congress.  There is a point to be made in that statement:  the mud slingers are giving real name recognition to Mr. D'Annunzio by sending mud to my mail box every two or so days, and I cannot so much as remember the first name of Mr. Hudson.  He is not campaigning his own values, all of his advertisement is about Mr. D'Annunzio.

Way to go boys!

I listened to a telephone town hall meeting with Mr. D'Annunzio last week.  He said nothing negative about Mr. Hudson.  His only mention of Mr. Hudson was that he was "not saying that Mr. Hudson was a bad person," but that he felt he was by far better qualified for the seat in Congress than is Mr. Hudson.

Today the eight and one-half by eleven inch poster arriving in my mail says that "D'Annunzio is slinging mud at Mr. Hudson
