31"For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." 32This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

When God talks about marriage, He isn’t only talking about earthly marriages. He has much greater plans for us than that. The earthly marriages we experience now, came about because of sin. In earthly marriages we make mistakes and learn from them.

God’s hope for us, is that we seek Him, learn from Him and about Him, become dependent on Him, and finally learn to Love and Submit to Him for eternity. Marriage between the first Adam and Eve wasn’t His final goal. Marriage between the Last Adam (Christ) and His wife (the church) was what He had in mind, for His final plan.
If you can only imagine a marriage between two people that are filled with the Holy Spirit, living in a world without sin, then you can begin to dream of the life and plans God truly had for you. We could truly live in Paradise and it would be what was meant to be in the beginning.

Marriage is
When two completed hearts soar together
For the sake of Love and Companionship
United in purpose
Directed by God
Blessed by our Lord Jesus Christ

Marriage is
A man and woman
that are like a violin and a bow
Separated, they can do nothing of significance
But when God picks them up and plays
There is music that makes the most heavenly sound


God made creation, so that He could live in it and through it! But God doesn’t want an eternity of heartaches, so He made it possible for us to overcome anything, once we've learned to reject pride and our sins and unite with His Holy Spirit.

Christ said there would be no marriage in the resurrection, but I can't imagine that He doesn't have even better plans for us in Paradise after the resurrection.

This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
