Our Future in Reverse

We've all seen the movies that show someone getting  into a time machine and going into the future; let me suggest that we are now in reverse mode.

Did you ever think we would go back to being schooled at home?

I do give the situation attention for a little change however, unless someone hits our power grid and then it will exactly as it was in the "Olden Days," otherwise I see a lot of home schools emerging soon.

It would be a savings for us to be home schooled.  Consider the savings of heating and cooling the schools,  even the cost of building the schools and their maintenance year by year.

If our home schools were managed on a local, perhaps County level,  we could keep good management of them.  No doubt much better management than from the huge umbrella we now use.

I am not suggesting that in all cases we could or should replace the Teachers, they could work from home also, unless someone hits our power grid.  If anything like that happened, we'd all be on our own because there would be no internet by which to communicate.

Further, we would not have the Federal Government, which taxes us greatly and then threatens to withhold our money that  it has taken from us... with the promise that it will give back to us services; and they would not have  the power to whoop us for misbehavior.   Misbehavior from their perspective.

The arrangement we have currently might not make good sense anyway;  why do we need the middle man to handle our money?

Of course, we do need the Federal Government, to work for us, and we do need to pay some taxes for the upkeep of the services it is employed by us to do: but to use OUR money as a TOOL with which to threaten us if we don't do what we don't want to do,  seems really off balance.  At the least it looks like that to me.

On the subject of saving money, we could do with many less Tax Collectors if we all paid a flat tax.  It would require only bookkeepers to account for the revenue from tax payers or cash registers.  There would be no more need to audit the same people over and over again, even those whose income had never risen above 40, 000 dollars in one year of work history, with the mean being less than 20,000 dollars per year. Of course, when those kind of repetitions are performed in an audit it is easier to show "a pile of work"  accomplished without expending much time in clock hours:  I guess it looks smart.

What kind of deal is this?  I work, I don't really give you money, you take it from me at penalty of destruction if I don't "give it," (in any other situation that is called robbery)  and then,  if I don't DO like you say I must do, you say you won't give me the services for which I have already employed you to do.  Is that a fair arrangement in anybody's thought pattern?  Does this sound like freedom to anyone out there?

There are a couple of other advantages to home schooling; no one will need to worry about guns being in the institutional schools.  Also, it is very difficult to wipe out great numbers of people if they are not clustered together.

So, I see home schools emerging, and probably the closing of several other institutions.  We must not allow anyone to control our homes, it is our last bastion of privacy and free thought.

Anyway, maybe if we did most of our living at home we could get family life back on track; knowing each other and living closer to those who really care about each other.

Sounds good to me!
