Sensitivity to light and touch is seemingly innate to newborn infants; to the mother’s relief her colicky baby relaxes as she caresses him or her. Cries become coos; when baby is contented and resting the domicile is a place of tranquility.  

I am God’s child and desire increased sensitivity to His touch, voice, and to His will.

“And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, ‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’

They said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord.’

Then He touched their eyes, saying, ‘According to your faith let it be to you.’ And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, ‘See that no one knows it.’ But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country (Matthew 9:28-31 NKJ).”

Jesus was not looking for notoriety.

Receiving their sight, the men disregarded His warning; they spread the news of miraculous healing by the touch of Jesus.
