I touched the sky
With a sweep of my hand
Gatered all the stars
With my magical wand.

I touched the sky
With a stroke of my heart
When on the stage of this world
I played my part.

I touched the sky
With a brush of my soul
As I went about this earth
To complete my role.

I touched the sky
With an offering of my day
When I did something for the Lord
In my own little way.

I touched the sky
With a bit of my eyes
When I looked yonder the clouds
To the heavens and what ahead lies.

I touched the sky
With a part of my night
When I stared at the moon
And its brilliant light.

I touched the sky
With a stretch of my life
When Love jostled me
And I went weak in the knee.

I touched the sky
With a side of my being
When my beloved called my name
And our feelings were both the same.

I touched the sky
With a beautiful emotion
When I heard the words of Love so dear
Which I had long awaited to hear.

I touched the sky
With an imprint of my gaze
When I drowned in the glance
Of my loved one to a soul dance.

I touched the sky
With a greeting from my mouth
When my pure heartfelt wish
Was reciprocated on love's own dish.

I touched the sky
With a bolt of lightning
When the magnetic presence of my heart's desire
Lit up my life with love's flaming fire.

I touched the sky
With an ecstatic song
When my thoughts were made complete
In an heart outreach to the one who held top seat.

I touched the sky
With a lilting dance
When my feet touched the same ground
It had once walked as time came around.

I touched the sky
With a kiss from my lips
When I voiced the Word
And unto all it was heard.

I touched the sky
With a caress of my fingers
When I wrote the good news
And it spread like the dotted dew.

I touched the sky
With heaven's own touch
When the Lord spoke to me
In a dream that I could clearly see.

I touched the sky
With the colors of faith
When glorious times
Matched my prayers at the same rate.

I touched the sky
With the paint of hope
When I yielded what was to come
Into a total win of not just some.

I touched the sky
With the rain of love
When it poured heavily from the top
The force of which made my heart pop.

I touched the sky
With the rainbow of promise
When I pledged my entire time
To give my best to The Lord in its prime.

I touched the sky
With the winds of change
When I connected myself
To the network above in same range.

I touched the sky
With an evergraze of my lifetime
When I handed over both this life and the next
To the Creator in an eternal keep
Until he gifts me what I will eventually reap.
