What we need right now is the right man
He will bring change to politics, yes he can!
Things will be better once he is in
Power once again and less national sin

How we have forgotten the words of a king to a nation
“Do not trust in princes in whom there is no salvation”
“My kingdom is not of this world” are words not soon retained
To political parties and candidates many believers are chained

This is not my home, just a pilgrim passin thru
Until its an election cycle, then another view
Polls, voting, and political devotion
In reaching the lost, not as much motion

Jesus is King no matter who is in power
His soon return is coming at an unexpectant hour
Will he find us building up the body and preaching good news
Oh dear brothers and sisters on this we should muse!
