(seeing the me in you? or,
seeing the You in me?)


I'm sent to my knees in sorrow Lord
for a blind man who thinks he's informed

his blindspot screams out from tomorrow
but we can't say
he hasn't been warned

he travels against the guiding tracks of Your Word Lord
And Your Word is an oncoming Light

what seems to keep this blind man still puzzled
is doing ,what to him that which "seems" right

As the oncoming freight train of destruction
blows its shrill,hairy horn

the sound of it's realizing whistle though
is the prospect that has him forlorned

for the obvious missing piece of this man's puzzle
the one that he never seems to let himself see...

...until Lord ,Your Hand reaches out and touches him
so that this blind man can now CHOOSE to BE

I'm crying out to You now Oh Lord
for Your Hand's Transforming Power to surge through me

hopefully and faithfully
I wait for the day
when Your Freight Train of Truth destroys the me
so the I will BE
out of Your Way
