We all know about the virgin Mary giving birth to Jesus the Saviour of humanity in the physical realm, but it's interesting to note that it also could be said that she gave birth to Jesus' ministry in the spiritual realm when she did what she did in the book of John chapter two ; Jesus even telling her "my time has not yet come" , but He obeyed her anyways, in this first public miracle that began His ministry.

John ch 2: 3-8 NASB

When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to Him, "They have no wine." And Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does that have to do with us? My hour has not yet come." His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it." Now there were six stone waterpots set there for the Jewish custom of purification, containing twenty or thirty gallons each. Jesus said to them, "Fill the waterpots with water." So they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, "Draw some out now and take it to the headwaiter." So they took it to him....


Just seems another great example of this important Godly Truth: "First in the natural, then in the spiritual " as spoken of in:
1 cor 15:46:

However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven.
